CHARITY OF THE TERM - WESTON HOSPICECARE

This term our charity is Weston Hospicecare (linked to our value of community and friendship).

We welcomed Kirsty and Zoe to talk to the children about the Hospice and some of the roles of the people who work there.

Over this term we will be aiming to raise money and awareness of the amazing work the hospice does in our community.

We are going to have a ‘blue for you’ day on Monday 7th October 2024 - where we are inviting everyone to wear blue and donate anything you can to the hospice.

Aubree and Alicia (from Beech Class) have also made some leaflets, which they will be handing out soon.

In addition, classes will be making cards for day patients at the hospice, to add some smiles to their day.
